The Miracle Cottage was given its name after the homeowner that built the cottage in the 1920’s was miraculously healed from a crippling disease after making many trips down to the river to retrieve stones for the cottage’s construction. After completing the cottage, no longer in need of his crutches, he embedded them in the front of the cottage. So was born The Miracle Cottage!
