The Texas Hill Country is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting areas in the entire Texas state. Situated in the central part of the state, the Hill Country comprises of 25 different countries along with the metropolitans of San Antonio and Austin.

The Blanco State Park is situated at a distance of around 40 miles in the northern direction of San Antonio. The park comprises of 104 lush green acres of beautiful land that are situated on the bank of the Blanco River.
There are almost 30 different campsites in the park and all of them are equipped with modern day showers, restrooms and all other facilities one may long for. You can camp, fish, hike, picnic, swim and have river fun while in the Blanco State Park.
The Garner State Park is situated almost 30 miles in the northern direction of Uvalde. It is spread over an area of more than 1400 acres while 10 of them are facing towards the bank of the Frio River.
The place is visited by thousands of people from around the world every year. It offers hundreds of camping sites throughout different parts of the park along with a large variety of different types of amenities.
In addition to this, people may also enjoy the rental cabins that are available both outside and inside the Garner State Park. Other attractions include sand volleyball courts, miniature golf, basketball courts, rental kayak, river tubing, picnic, biking, fishing, swimming, hiking, etc.
The Inks Lake State Park is situated near Burnet at a distance of almost 67 miles in the northwestern direction of Austin. It comprises of more than 1200 lush green acres that are adjacently situated to the River of Colorado.
Hundreds of different types of camping sites are available in the different parts of the park while a limited number of rental cabins is also available. If you are a fan of hiking and other similar outdoor adventures, the Inks Lake State Park is the right place to visit since it offers some of the best and the longest hiking trails.
In addition to this, the park also offers a 9 hole golf course with club and cart rentals. There is a classy park store that not only sells all kinds of grocery items but also offers rental surf bikes, canoes, and paddle boats as well.
If you have some spare time, you can also visit the Longhorn Cavern State Park that is situated only a short distance away from the Inks Lake Park in the southeastern direction.
